Traditional Black and African American Family Recipes
The Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Council has been busy this month collecting recipes from the Black and African American community from Fluvanna.
These recipes were curated from families with deep roots in Fluvanna County and have been passed through generations. They include small plate dishes, meals, and desserts. Items required can be found in the local grocery store, mother's pantry, and some even straight from Mother Nature.
EDTAC would love to see you replicating the dish. Use hashtag #recipesfromfluvanna to share on social media. You might even get featured in a future recipe book!
EDTAC is eager to expand this recipe book for the 2022 edition, set to be released February 2022! If you have additional recipes from the Black and African American community from Fluvanna, please submit your recipe by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
