Did you know Fluvanna has a certified visitor center now?
The Pleasant Grove House and Museum is a certified tourist information center. County officials applied to the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) for certification in January and this week were notified the visitor center is certified!
This is tremendous news. The county completed a historical renovation of the Pleasant Grove House in 2014. Plans included the facility to serve as a visitor center. The 2018 Tourism Strategic Plan called for the visitor center to be certified.
Pamphlets about Fluvanna will now be available in the Virginia Welcome Centers and other certified visitor centers across the Commonwealth. Pleasant Grove House will now be listed in various VTC publications as a primary visitor resource.
If you have any guests coming to town, bring them to the Pleasant Grove House so they can get all a host of visitor information that's #FromFluvanna!
